Curt spent over 40 years working in the pool industry — long enough to see how it was often done wrong. Corners cut. Customers handed off. Craftsmanship treated as optional. He watched homeowners spend their savings on pools that didn’t live up to the promise.
In 2019, he decided to do something about it. Pioneer Custom Pools was founded on a simple belief — that every family deserves a pool built the right way, by people who actually care about the end result.
Based out of DeLand and serving all of Volusia County, Pioneer has built over 150 custom pools since opening — each one overseen personally, each one a reflection of the standard Curt set out to raise.
